Studio Besau-Marguerre is about the bigger picture, but with plenty of attention to detail. Founded in 2011 by Eva Marguerre and Marcel Besau, the design studio takes an interdisciplinary approach to its work. Their holistic view works with the synergies of design, interior design, visual communication and styling. The team of interior, textile, graphic and production designers at Studio Besau-Marguerre develops fascinating trade-show booths as well as comprehensive furnishing for major projects such as the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie. Their creations and concepts for renowned companies and clients are characterized by unusual colors, experimental shapes and special materials. Eva Marguerre and Marcel Besau have won several international awards and also work as curators. For Schönbuch they have created SIMETRIA, a range of elegant, purist wall cabinets with fascinating geometric forms.
